Just what the city needed...

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending the opening of LV Bridal, York’s newest and most stylish bridal studio. Founded by Lauren—who spent years working in the London fashion industry—LV Bridal brings a fresh, modern approach to wedding dress shopping, and honestly, it’s exactly what the city needed.

Located on Colliergate, the boutique is a breath of fresh air for Yorkshire brides searching for something contemporary and unique. The space is designed with comfort and style in mind, creating a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere for brides-to-be. Whether you’re drawn to sleek silhouettes, romantic details, or bold modern designs, Lauren has curated an incredible selection of gowns to suit a range of styles. Appointments are now open, giving brides the opportunity to experience a truly personal and fashion-forward shopping experience.

The boutique itself is an absolute dream. The lounge-style fitting area is both effortlessly chic and relaxed, making the experience of trying on gowns feel even more special. LV Bridal carries an incredible selection of designers, including Halfpenny London, Jane Hill, Chosen by Kyha, and Studio Ellis—perfect for brides looking for contemporary, fashion-forward styles

Lauren was so lovely and welcoming, and her passion for modern bridal wear, and 'helping women feel beautiful' as she put it, shines through in every detail of the studio. We love to see York getting more exciting, stylish spaces like this! If you’re on the hunt for your dream dress, LV Bridal is absolutely worth a visit.
